JOB SUMMARY:Assist the Operations Manager on larger scale maintenance, renovations and construction projects. Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned on all facilities at the Clemson Baruch Institute campus. Document completed work and report potential issues to the Operations Manager. Candidate should have strong carpentry skill as well as working knowledge of simple electrical, HVAC, drywall, paint, plumbing and grounds keeping. Other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES:60% - Essential - Assist Operations Manager with larger scale maintenance, renovations and construction projects: requiring knowledge and experience using power tools, knowledge of basic, and proper, building practices or the ability, and desire, to learn proper building and renovation practices. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintenance experience related to the area of employment. RESPONSIBILITIESJOB KNOWLEDGE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 20% - Stand for prolonged period WORKING CONDITIONS: 10% - Burn hazards WORK SCHEDULE:Standard Hours: 37.5 COMPENSATION INFORMATIONBand: 04 ($40,000 - $45,000) Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
