Our beautiful college campus sits on 1,400 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, along the shores of Hartwell Lake. But we also have research facilities and economic development hubs throughout the state of South Carolina — in Greenville, Greenwood, Columbia and Charleston.

Performs skilled trade duties for project construction, facilities upkeep, and equipment maintenance. Provides assistance to the Buildings/Grounds Manager to maintain facility operations. Other duties as assigned. 

40% - Essential - Station Maintenance:   Assists buildings/grounds manager with maintenance and grounds-keeping; including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC.  Performs trade duties such as carpentry, masonry, and plumbing.

30% - Essential - Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping:  Mow, rake, and weed grass areas; pick up debris.  Assist with planting and care of grass, ornamentals, and trees.  Operate heavy equipment to perform grounds maintenance.

20% - Essential - Equipment Maintenance:  Responsible for routine maintenance & repair of all buildings/grounds equipment and tools.  Operates heavy equipment as needed.

10% - Essential - Personnel Management:  Directs and trains seasonal workers and guides work performed by external contractors.
