JOB SUMMARY:
The Campus & Community Engagement Program Manager provides leadership in the Office of Academic Affairs for the College of Veterinary Medicine as it pertains to creating an accountable culture of belonging for all community members. Working with all CVM stakeholders, this individual will build positive relationships, broaden collective understanding, and provide experiential opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Student Support and Curricular Oversight:
Assist in recruiting prospective students to the program and participate in the admissions and application process. Act as the CVM liaison to main campus Student Accessibility Services. Oversee CVM Student Ambassadors by providing training and mentorship. Provide support for student clubs and affinity groups. Coordinates and organizes orientation for the CVM. Collaborate with the Professional Development Unit Lead and CVM faculty to create, integrate and implement coursework in the DVM program related to intercultural competence. Work with the CVM Director of Teaching and Learning to inform best practices for inclusive teaching practices.
30% - Essential - Leadership and Compliance:
Promote a culture of belonging across the CVM campus by developing, implementing, and providing information, training, and awareness on topics of community and culture at Clemson University and within the CVM. Work closely with relevant departments of Clemson University to ensure continuity of messaging while implementing strategies to handle specific needs of CVM community. Ensure CVM compliance with Clemson University policies related to accessibility.
10% - Essential - Professional development:
Lead training programs for CVM faculty and staff in best practices to foster a respectful learning and working environment.
10% - Essential - Data management:
Work with the Director of Outcomes to measure and assess community outcomes, inform policies, and share insights with campus leaders to ensure accountability and progress.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in sociology, psychology, education, human resources, business administration, or related area.
Experience - 3+ years of progressively relevant experience in higher education or a related field

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Anticipated Hiring Range ($55,000.00 - $70,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
