JOB SUMMARY:
Strategically support the department and the number one student experience by executing and validating daily business processes within the Student Information System (SIS) to include enrollment reporting and grade collection, while providing exceptional customer service. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
30% - Essential - Student Information System Coordination: Serve as the primary student information system coordinator by running processes outlined on the production calendar, updating and maintaining system settings, validating output, troubleshooting and resolving errors. Coordinate the grade collection process and semester-end processing. Review data edits to ensure accuracy.
30% - Essential - Enrollment Reporting: Serve as the primary coordinator for student enrollment reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) by running processes, resolving error reports, and correcting data in the student information system and the NSC portal.
20% - Essential - Records and Registration Operations: Support departmental users with system operations, serving as backup for key processes. Assist with the execution of key events such as scheduling, registration, orientation, and graduation. Maintain knowledge of academic regulations and curriculum requirements, departmental policies and procedures. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
20% - Essential - Customer Service: Oversee grade collection process by assisting faculty in troubleshooting and resolving grade submission issues. Train users on functionality and appropriate use of systems. Support faculty, staff, and students in resolving system issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent
Work Experience - Relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Work Experience - 1+ years in records and registration or a related role.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Anticipated Hiring Range: $39,300 - $50,000
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
