JOB SUMMARY:

 

Clemson University's University Development Team, is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to fulfill the following duties:

  • Manages a variety of complex administrative duties in support of the development efforts and activities for the assigned team and Development Officers (DO's) within the University Development Team (UDT). 
     
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

 

40% - Essential - Complex Administrative Support: 
Provides detailed & efficient support with a variety of projects & tasks for the assigned group of development professionals including an Executive Director of Development. Maintains dynamic calendars via Outlook for multiple development professionals on assigned team. Prepares meeting materials & coordinates meetings with various partners across the campus and with external donors and alumni. Manage data integrity and timely entry of data into CADENCE database. Generates accurate reporting using various databases and technology platforms.
20% - Essential - Finance & Travel Management:  
Coordinates business related travel arrangements for assigned team members. Compiles receipts, invoices, and other documentation to prepare reimbursements for processing via Concur. Advises team members on proper procedures and allowable charges for travel based on University and Clemson University Foundation policies. Liaises between fiscal analyst and development officers to track expenses and ensure expenses are within budget. Receives and processes checks in accordance with CU Foundation guidelines.
20% - Essential - Event & Engagement Oversight: 
Provides logistical support and coordinates invitation and RSVP processes, briefing materials and biographical information for attendees, day-of event support, etc. for a variety of events and donor engagement activities. Prepares and coordinates itineraries donor visits,  prospective student visits, and other donor cultivation activities as necessary.
20% - Essential - Team Operations & Communications:
Prepares and coordinates mailings & donor correspondence. Board meeting coordination & logistical support, as necessary. Supports the stewardship efforts for key donors in collaboration with donor relations team member.  Provides excellent customer service & professional communication.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education -  High School or Equivalent


Work Experience -  2+ years administrative & office management 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

JOB KNOWLEDGE
Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period

Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself

WORK SCHEDULE:

 

Standard Hours: 37.5/week

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

 

Expected Salary Range: $ 38,985.00 - $ 48,000.00
 

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

 

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
