JOB SUMMARY:

 

Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment, the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions will support the mission, goals, policies, and procedures of Graduate Admissions. The Associate Director manages admission systems, oversees data management, and contributes to administrative office functions. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

 

60% - Essential - Systems Administration: Administer ongoing concurrent management of multiple admission systems and processes. Design, test, implement, maintain, and support CRM system functions.  Facilitate system configurations, upgrades, integration's, customizations, and new feature implementations. Provide problem resolution for systems to admission staff and campus partners. Develop technical documentation (designs, specifications, processes, workflows) and communications. Develop simulations of end-user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Create and execute procedures that ensure all systems and services comply with federal and state law, and University policies and guidelines. Suggest appropriate changes or revisions of system functions to make processes more efficient. Track data changes and manage error reports and collaborate with data partners to ensure data is correct and consistent. Review and resolve suspense and merge reports daily. Create reports to ensure data is being managed accurately, including internal reports for Graduate Admissions and external reports for campus partners. Manage specialized admissions processes using the CRM platform, including undergraduate graduate enrollment, change of program, change of term, and merged and suspended applications.
30% - Essential - Compliance, Training and Technical Support: Create procedures that ensure all CRM products and services meet agency standards and end-user requirements. Coordinate and facilitate CRM on-boarding and training for campus-wide functional end-users, including creating training materials. Manage program coordinator, faculty, and staff inquiries related to graduate admissions policies, procedures, and practices. Manage campus partner CRM technical and functional inquiries and concerns regarding the graduate application, application review system, and other technologies used within the graduate admissions processes.
10% - Essential - Administrative and Professional Support: Provide ongoing professional development for staff in the areas of system and data management as well as other relevant topics, including current industry standards and best practices. In the absence of the Director, provide leadership to the team and assist with office management, including customer service. Serves on the Graduate School Student Information Systems (SIS) team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education - A High School Diploma.  A Bachelors Degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience. 

Experience - 3+ years experience in computer system development and modification.  

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education -  Master's Degree

Experience - Experience in customer relationship management and student information systems management is preferred.

Standard Hrs: 37.5

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

 

Anticipated Hiring Range ($55,000.00 - $69,000.00)
 

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

 

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
