JOB SUMMARY:

 

Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for Talent Acquisition systems and processes, including but not limited to background checks, reference checks (skill survey), interview technology (spark hire),  and any other Talent Acquisition tracking platforms. Manages university background check process, including processing, review, and addressing hiring manager and candidate questions. Provides support for the management of Talent Acquisition programs, including Talent Source and SkillBridge. Partners in supporting the implementation and ongoing efforts of the Talent Management performance management process. Performs other related duties as required to support the goals and efforts of the Talent Acquisition partners. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

 

35% - Essential - Address customer questions related to TA systems. Assists with addressing applicant issues that are sent to the TA team, including, but not limited to, job application submission, veteran preference, pre-screening systems, etc.. Provides guidance for internal HR teams on background checks, reference checks, and spark hires. Responds to relevant Talent Acquisition inquiries coming into hrjob@clemson.edu (to be changed later to Workday help).  Supports TA partners in the timely closing of job postings, initiating Spark Hire, and other relevant TA tasks. Helps with process management of talent acquisition programs- Talent Source and Skill Bridge.
30% - Essential - Manages all aspects of the University's background check process including confirmation of results, background form errors, missing information, etc.. Responds to inquiries from hiring managers and applicants regarding background checks policy/process. Consults with TA Director for considerations on background checks. Supports TA partners in the timely processing and communication of background checks, processing times, delays and fails.
25% - Essential - Provides Talent Management leadership updates from various Talent Management systems, including any errors, software updates, etc. Performs performance management system administration tasks to include uploading new forms, revising workflow attributes, and deleting old forms.
10% - Essential - Other tasks as needed to support efforts of the TA Partners and the TM Managers on projects, job fairs, networking events, communications, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education -  1st Bachelor's Degree - Experience in human resources management programs.
Work Exp 1+ years

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

 

Expected Salary Range ($ 45,300.00 - $ 52,147.50)
 

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

 

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
