JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean of Clinical Programs in the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine. Plans, organizes, and directs a variety of complex administrative duties for the Office of Clinical Programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Administrative Support:
Serves as administrative central point-of-contact for the Associate Dean with constituents, Clemson administrators, and staff. Makes independent decisions regarding action required and routes to appropriate personnel. Establishes and manages calendars and gathers materials in preparation for meetings. Reviews schedules with Associate Dean and provides updates on pertinent office information while on travel. Types confidential letters, memos, reports, agendas, and evaluation summaries. Prepares, edits, and disseminates meeting minutes and calendar invites. Develops and maintains paper and electronic filing system for supported offices.
40% - Essential - Clinical Programs Support:
Provides administrative support to the Year 4 Clinical Training Unit Lead and team of Clinical Faculty Mentors with duties pertaining to engagement with external Clinical Partners, scheduled meetings, records, and data management. Provides administrative support for Clinical Partners to facilitate documentation, billing, training, and events coordination.
20% - Essential - Event and Travel Coordination:
Schedules and secures travel arrangements for Associate Dean both in and outside of the state. Serves as Concur delegate and provides coordination support in preparation of travel logistics and documentation. Coordinates meetings and visits with stakeholders both within and outside of Clemson, both on and off campus.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Work Experience - 1+ years of relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Work Experience - 1+ years of experience in higher education administrative support.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Anticipated Hiring Range: $39,300 - $60,000
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
