JOB SUMMARY:

 

Maintains inventory for Auxiliary Enterprises. Delivers inventory or supplies around campus as needed. Works with a furniture moving team for room turnover and repairs furniture as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

 

30% - Essential - Furniture Installation and Maintenance:
Moves all furniture from one area to another and installs all new furniture for Auxiliary Enterprises. Assists with and oversees the refinishing and repairs of furniture and cabinets.
25% - Essential - Inventory Records:
Organizes and keeps records of all furniture or materials kept within the storage facility.
20% - Essential - Inventory Inspection:
Completes weekly inventory inspections of all furniture, looking
for damages, vandalism, missing items, tags, and labels. Completes weekly inventory
inspections of goods received from warehouse for distribution of selected areas.
Keeps accurate records of quantity, type, and value of property, equipment, material,
and supplies. Maintains furniture inventory and property control.
15% - Essential - urplus Management:
Coordinates the relocation or disposal of surplus property. Manages inventory and scheduling of active and inactive records for state agency. Reviews inventory reports.
10% - Essential - Substation Management:
Assists in maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and quality control in each satellite storage space.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education -  High School or Equivalent

Valid Drivers license

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

 

Expected Salary Range ($ 32,686.00 - $ 60,471.00)
 

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

 

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
